CANCELLATION POLICY: Participants will not be able to cancel for this workshop. Seats can be transferred to friends and we will do everything we can to find a replacement as there is usually a wait-list for these workshops.

All participants will be filmed operating each gag and footage will be provided afterwards for demo reel usage.

Stunt Coordinator, Special Effects Coordinator and Armorer JON FUNK will also provide students with guidance on what next steps to take in pursuit of a career in the FX Industry for Film and TV (dangerous goods certificate, ACFC application, permittee courses, pyro ticket, etc.).

With many film workers leaving the industry due to a prolonged strike there is shortage of workers expected in the new year as productions are ramping up full force in 2024.

Learn how to operate a Propane Firebar to create SFX Fire on Camera.
