WHEN: SATURDAY November 22nd  |  10am – 5pm
FEES: $249 (GST Included). Prior payment is required to reserve a seat.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Participants will not be able to cancel for this special workshop.
Where: Suite 216, 1118 Homer Street, Vancouver. Safety protocols in place.
Ample parking on Richards between Helmcken and Davie.
$1/hour with a 3 hour maximum // $14 a day underground parking underneath URBAN FARE at 177 Davis St.

Description

This hands-on firearms workshop is designed to prepare actors for the realities of working with weapons on set. Participants will learn the safe handling, movement, and discharge of various firearms, including pistols, fully-automatic rifles, and shotguns.

The specific firearms covered in the workshop are:

  • Pistols (e.g. Colt 1911, Glock, Desert Eagle, etc.)
  • Fully-automatic AR-15 Assault Style Rifle
  • AK-47 Kalashnikov
  • Mossberg Pump-Action Shotgun

The Firearms action will be filmed on camera on the day as well.

We use Simunition blanks. The Gold Standard for Firearms training used by law enforcement and military around the globe for the most realistic, non-toxic and non-lethal training experience.

By the end of the workshop, actors will gain the CONFIDENCE and SKILLS needed to safely handle firearms on set.
