CANCELLATION POLICY: Participants will not be able to cancel for this workshop. Seats can be transferred to friends and we will do everything we can to find a replacement as there is usually a wait-list for these workshops.

Christie Will Wolf – Producer, Director, Writer
Christie Will Wolf is an award winning screenwriter, director, and producer, with over 26 feature films and television movies under her bra strap. March 2019, Christie WON The Directors Guild of Canada LEGACY AWARD. April 2019, Christie was NOMINATED for BEST SCREEN WRITING in a Television Movie by The LEO AWARDS (Canadian Film Awards). Years prior, Christie worked as an assistant to actor/ producer/director Peter Berg. Following that, Christie worked as Head of Development for Paula Abdul Productions, developing Paula’s reality show “Hey Paula” which aired on Bravo! Christie came up the ranks directing electronic press kits for distributors, and gained a reputation for delivering profitable companion pieces to movies.
Early in Christie’s career, her short film Dysfunction received acclaim at Rhonde Island Film Festival, establishing Christie as a filmmaker with a distinct voice. Her first feature film, Slightly Single in L.A. (Jenna Dewan, Lacey Chabert, The Farley Brother’s, Chris Kattan) which she wrote, directed, and produced, which was one of the first romantic comedy aquistions for Netflix, proved to be an audience favourite for the demographic of women 14-18 / 20-30. Following the success of SSinL.A, Christie was hired to write and direct the indie hit comedy “Boy Toy” starring Morgan Fairchild, John White, Kevin Farley – which was released by Lions Gate. Following that, she was again hired to write and direct a teen Christmas comedy entitled “A Holiday Heist” starring Vivica Fox, and more. In the television movie genre, Christie most notably wrote and directed the first movie for the Hallmark Channel that was ever entirely helmed by a female writer/ directer. Further, for 2017 Christie’s television movies all landed on fan favourite lists ranking popularity, which in turn has put Christie in demand on such platforms. Christie has original movies on Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Lifetime, Hallmark, and UpTV. Christie currently has an biography feature film MY MTV, set in the 1970’s, that is being produced by iconic music producer David Foster, and Mary Aloe.
Christie Will Wolf was born in Blue Mountain, Ontario Canada, and was orphaned by the age of fourteen years old. She attended Emerson College in Boston MA, studying Musical Theatre. Later she earned a Bachelor of Arts from The College of Charleston SC in Theatre and Art History. Christie completed her education with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Creative writing from the University of British Columbia. Notable accolades include being the recipient of the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award, as well as receiving Best Director awards at various festivals within North America.

Stellina has had a rewarding and varied career in the arts. Over her 30 year career she has worked in all facets of the acting industry; First as a performer, then as a Director, Composer, Teacher and Acting Coach. She taught the Full time acting program at Schoolcreative, (now Vancouver Acting School) for six years as well as maintaining an ongoing private coaching business.
She has appeared in over 60 commercials and numerous Stage, TV and Film roles. Most notable TV & Film credits include: Terminal City, Carpool with David Paymer, Unforgettable opposite Ray Liotta, and Tony Shalhoub’s wife on Monk.
Stage performances include: Amadeus, Merchant of Venice, Are You Lonesome Tonight, Women in Bed, Night of the Iguana, Little Shop of Horrors, Dark of the Moon, Pal Joey, Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Sunshine Boys, Anne of Green Gables, Kiss Me Kate, and many others. These performances have taken her from the Cincinnati Playhouse, to the Citadel Theatre, Stratford Festival, Stage West, Charlottetown Festival, and the North Pole.
Directing Credits include: The Wild Party, Almost Maine, Mental the Musical, Stiff Cuffs, Italian American Reconciliation, Four Dogs and a Bone, Twenty Something, Pizza Man, Farewell Ambrosia, Misconduct and many School Creative and VAS showcases.
